August2014 Road Trip: Day 7-Philly, Saratoga Racetrack & Lake George NY

We left Lancaster before dawn.  One of the top items of my bucket list is to see the Rocky Statue and mimic Sylvester Stallone's climb up the 72 steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.  Today I was able to cross it off my list.  Granted I didn't run up the steps but I did climb them in a fairly hurried pace!  We took photos at the top of the steps and with the statue.

Next it was time to head to our next destination, Saratoga Racetrack.  We arrived in Saratoga ahead of schedule and were able to enjoy a 1/2 day of racing.

Before we knew it, it was time to check into the Cornerstone Victorian Bed & Breakfast in Lake George NY.  The drive through the Adirondacks was jaw dropping.

This B&B is a beautiful Victorian Mansion will be our home for the next 4 days.

The Cornerstone Victorian B&B is everything we could ask for.

The grounds are beautiful, the décor inside is beautiful and our room exceeded our expectations.  The Innkeepers Doug & Louise are a friendly couple who obviously love their work.
